Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments are used for many different purposes: Skin Rejuvenation, Acne Clearance, Hair Reduction, Hyperpigmentation, and Vascular Lesions. Viora’s IPL is unique in that all skin types can be treated due to the advanced PCR technology. Dr. Twigg has full control and can customize your treatments to your unique skin condition and skin type for the safest, most effective treatments possible.

What skin types are treatable with Intense Pulsed Light?
With Viora’s IPL system, every skin type can be treated.
How long do IPL treatments take?
Treatment times depend on the area involved. Small treatment areas may only take 5 minutes, while large treatment areas may take 45 minutes or longer.
Do IPL treatments hurt?
Viora’s IPL treatment deployment system uses a direct contact cooling system, providing cooling before, during, and after each pulse. This allows for more comfortable treatments.
How many IPL treatments will I need?
This is dependent on what you are doing treatments to treat. I can vary between 1-10 sessions. Please see individual descriptions for more details and Dr. Twigg will discuss this in greater detail.
Are maintenance sessions required for Intense Pulsed Light?
For most conditions, maintenance sessions may be necessary at some point and recommended. This will be discussed at your session. Not every condition would need this.
